I'm a Finalist!

Back in May, a friend of mine suggested I participate in a local logo competition - for the National Links Trust. It looked like a great opportunity to flex my skills as an amateur graphic artist against any of the professional firms or freelancers that may submit as well. I did my research and made a few drafts, sent it around to my friends for some feedback. I came up with several different versions of a similar image - long and compact - to fit any type of merchandise to be sold.

It took them awhile to make a decision, but in the end I did not win. However, I'm the first runner-up! So, I guess I got 2nd place... It's okay though, I thought my submission is way better than the winner, but I'm biased. I'm grateful for the opportunity and I would certainly do this again.
